Maggiknits Needles
Each needle is created by wood artisan Joe Hanes, collecting wood from e.g. trash piles from others, throw away from industries, from saw mills and any other place he finds wood that others do not want, hence ‘RECLAIMED’. He then cuts and sands repeatedly woods like ebony, walnut, osage orange, cherry etc. He then creates the Shaft and Caps for these incredible needles. He hand rubs the wood with special oil, that he blended from natural oil and infuses it with essential oils such as lemon, orange or grapefruit. Joe specifically chooses these scents because the citrus naturally cleans the wood.

They are not lacquered like other wooden needles which chip and wear but these get better with usage and keep your hands soft. Also because you do not have to grasp them so tightly you can knit longer and they are very therapeutic, especially for arthritis sufferers.
